2008 Citroen C5 II: Official Images

|
Our search for official images of the all-new 2008 Citroen C5 paid off as shortly after we discovered the anonymous camera phone pics from the dealer presentation in France (see here), we found a set of 11 high-resolution images wondering freely in the net. It was bound to happen…

We’re still in the dark when it comes to specs but we do know that the all-new C5 is based on the Peugeot 407 chassis and like the current C5, it too will be equipped with Citroen’s fabulous hydropneumatic suspension. We also now that Citroen’s designers have “sculptured” a beautiful and dynamic shape for the new C5 which will be offered initially in sedan and station wagon variants. Same goes for the interior though we could have done without that weird steering wheel with the fixed hub and the 20,000 buttons. -See our high-resolution image gallery after the jump

No bad!
But from the side it looks like an audi!

But French Automaker Citroen is doing a really good job!

Yep, indeed; the side view does remind me of Audi too, but then better. The new C5 also has some BMW features (C,D pillar), but also better.
Very well done guys at Citroen. I hope this car gets the sales figures as should be deserved for such a good job.
Unfortunately too many people buy a car for it's status. Why? uncertain character, being afraid,...?
