The forthcoming Ford Ka II minicar has been caught with its pants down by the folks over at German car magazine “Autobild”. In their latest issue, the second generation Ka is revealed in detail without any camouflage whatsoever. Set to make its first public appearance at the Paris Auto Show this fall, the Ka is heavily based on the Fiat 500 and it will be built alongside the Italian mini in at Fiat’s From what we can tell from these images and even though the shape of the Ka bears a strong resemblance to the Fiat 500, it doesn’t look like it shares any visible parts with its the retro-penned Italian minicar. Instead, the Ka looks more like a Fiesta that just came out of the dryer....

It looks like a Vauxhall Corsa redesigned.
Ford's design team needs to be changed!
WOW! I'm so glad it kept its funky character, unlike the new Twingo. The charismatic appearance is at least equal, if not superior purpose of the KA - and it should've been like that in the Twingo, too...
well i am confused...i thought the fiesta and the 500 were built on the same platform, not the KA and the 500. Then again being in the states, i have to go to europe to experience either car presently, so please excuse my ignorance. Certainly looks like a fun city car.
Are these available in the US? I don't think I've ever seen one here or ads or anything.
Just seems odd to me to see that an American carmaker would make a car and not release it here. Maybe I'm just naive.
mrpappagi0rgi0# Apart from Ford America, there's Ford of Europe, Ford of Australia etc. Just like the Mustang isn't available in Europe (officially) and the Falcon in the US, the Ka doesn't come here. Its European designed, developed and made from Ford Europe
