2010 Dodge Charger Coupe Renderings

|
While we like the current four-door Dodge Charger, we can’t hide our preference to 2door models, especially when it concerns powerful rear-wheel coupes. These renderings that depict a retro-themed Charger Coupe inspired by the late 1960’s model are the brainchild of independent artist, Michael Leonhard. Even though we seriously doubt that Chrysler LLC would consider adding another muscle car into its line-up, it’s interesting to see how designers like Leonhard illustrate their thoughts. Check out the rest of the pictures after the jump and tell us what you think. -Continued

Damn.... that is some fantastic illustrations there. It surprises me how sometimes better designs come from people from outside the industry. Chrysler should buy this design and produce this car "NOW".

Damn, this is pathetically ugly. All from a car company who may not exist in a few years.

That is truly a hideous depiction of the old charger. It looks like someone gave the vehicle jowls to accent its age.

To me these renderings look more or less exactly like all the other revivals of yesterday's muscle cars. In all cases it's something that shouldn't have been done at all.

what about four doors, and some modern style, stop going back to the 70's for every car you make.

This is the way the charger should have looked when was brought back to production!I see a great car, not a 4 door with a charger logo. Anybody that does not realize this, must be blind and stupid. As for going back to the 70's or all the other muscle car revisions...that's the whole purpose, a (retro reproduction design)dumb ass.

i love chargers but this one kinda looks like the challenger, the back design should be different, a little more unique.the front kicks ass

Too boxy, too ugly, and for the one spewing things about 'going back to the 70's to get ideas for muscle cars' This is a late 60's knockoff design. Most likely after the 68 Charger up front, and a lame, horrid mock up of the 69 Charger's rear end. Get your facts straight before posting nonsensical garbage. But I do agree with you on this: It's extremely ugly, and a disgrace to the name Charger

To be honest it does need a little work; but about time someone has got back to the the Charger. The Charger , the R/t, the 500 and so on was great from 66 til some time in the 70's.
We are finially remembering again what American Muscle is all about with the Mustang/ the Challenger / soon to be Camero. I think I remember a prototype Gto. Lets give them a little Charge again with a new Charger following this guys idea and lets fix the areas that need to be fixed Chrysler Corp. Throw that 300 frame 4 door piece of crap out and let that be an awsome 300 for CRysler only , Dodge give us more picks to eyeball not the same fram , size, etc, etc, with a diff facial mold; and get a new 2 door Charger that gives back AMERICAN MUSCLE AGAIN.

UGLYCAR!!! YAY!!! I'm keeping a tally of the idiots on the road who drive this ugly hunk of junk! Along with Thunderbirds, Avengers and Calibers! CHRYSLER SUCKS! HAHAHAHA!!

come on guys you can do wayyy better than this. Honestly the charger that exist right now looks sweet but this charger looks ugly and GM and Ford come up with ideas that are fresh, new , and modern but stop going to th past and start looking ahead. i live in michigan and all michigan is about is american cars and this is where it all started. i mean dodge has really cool new cars but this new charger isnt going to be a big of a hit as the other one did. I love dodge and my realtives work for chrysler but seriously you can do wayy much better than this maybe you guys can come up with a different model. Well i hope. make the charger sweet looking. like the next camero because no one is going to be wanting to buy this car besides pimps.

Also the people that say that chrysler sucks need to shut up because they have no clue what they are talking about. Americans give pride and soul into making cars for the US citizens. The people who say that chysler sucks probably drive a shity landrover around. and if you dont respect american car companies arent american so get the hell out of here becasue we dont want you. Thank you chrysler, ford , and GM for making automobiles for the war and thank you for making cars for us!!! USA

I agree with Kenneth. Even though the '68 Charger R/T is my classic dream car, the New Charger/Mitsubishi Eclipse rear-end is dawg ugly. If they're gonna make a '68 Charger look-alike, make it look like the '68; even at the rear.

Hey all you Charger hating bastards. I have no idea what the hell you're talking about. This car rocks! Who needs every car on the road to be modern looking and all new? A flash back to the 1970s and '60s is a nice idea, and I like it, so DAMN YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!

i don't understand how so many people can critisize negatively when they probably don't have a minute idea of what it takes to just come up with the designs of a new car and in little time.. the car makers are giving the people the chance to talk about the way you want the car designed and many people have talked crap but honestly if all the car makers wanted to they could just make a cube and put it on wheel(LMAO sorry they already did and looks like crap) and honestly i wish they would require you to put a pic of the car you drive on here so we could see all the pos's these pesimists drive!!!!

Id rather have this model of the charger out instead of that ugly ass 4door "family car". I dont know how they can call it a charger when it dosnt even look like a muscle car. All the 4door charger is, is a disgrace to the older, yes, but better looking and sounding american muscle car.
