Turns out that the unidentified world premiere model that Mitsubishi was referring to in its Paris Show press release wasn’t a crossover version of the Lancer as initially thought but the facelifted Colt and these are the first official pictures of both the three and five-door versions of the Japanese supermini that will compete against the likes of the Ford Fiesta and Toyota Yaris. The first thing anyone will notice on the 2009 Colt is the restyled front end that combines the Lancer’s trademark black grille with a new set of headlamps and a redesigned bumper. -Continued Changes at the rear are limited to a restyled bumper and in the case of the 5door Colt, new tail lamps. Can't find words to describe ugliness of this car
Being in the US, I'm glad that only Europe will get this.
It looked in the mirror and now thinks of suicide. Maaaaaan itz ugly as hell! Were they drunk when redesigning it?
From the direct side view it sure looks a lot like my wife's Toyota Yaris (Vitz) hatchback.
yuck. no body will buy that. its just too ugly. it looks like a man's face on a baby's body
if u make that, people will only buy second hand mitsubishi colts..
because the current colts look much hotter than the new model.
Anon #2: Japan will get this facelifted aswell. Anywho, its hideous. If Mitsubishi wants to improve sales, this isn't the way to go about it!
They hit jackpot with the Lancer and the Outlander, but what the hell is this supposed to be?!?!
