If there’s one thing we don’t like about the Fiat Group, it’s their notorious incapability of keeping the press informed with their latest actions. Such is the case with the Alfa Romeo MiTo Veloce that made its world premiere at the AutoRAI show in Holland. Other than these photos that were shot by our friends over at Autoblog.nl and some scattered information, there’s nothing official on the car. Unofficially, it is said that the Veloce, which supposedly fits between the 155HP 1.4 TB model and the forthcoming 240HP GTA, is powered by a 180HP variant of the firm’s 1.4-liter turbo engine.

Other mechanical improvements on the MiTo Veloce include an upgraded suspension and beefier brakes.

As you can see in the photos, the Veloce features a subtle bodykit consisting of a front lip spoiler, side skirts, white-color mirror caps and a roof spoiler. The looks are rounded off with the multispoke alloy wheels finished in white. Inside, the MiTo Veloce comes with a set of sport seats and aluminum pedals and trim.
