The unrecognizable mass of metal you see pictured above used to be a new Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. If we are to believe the reports coming in from Russia, the owner of the Prancing Horse model was driving somewhere in Moscow when he noticed smoke coming out from the engine bay. The driver is said to have stopped on the side of the road in an attempt to extinguish the fire himself - obviously his efforts went down the drain. The corpse of the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti was towed away in a rather unfashionably (some may say ironic) way by a local dump truck. Click through to watch the scorching videos.Via: Mreporter

Ahh, nothing can beat the FIAT Group's quality. Can only imagine what kind of products will come out of the Chrysler - Fiat alliance. If you thought Chrysler's cars were poorly built, just wait until you see what Marchionne has in store for you. Burn baby, burn!

That is the dumbest bunch of idiots I've seen in a long time. The police continued to let cars pass within mere feet of a burning wreck, and the firemen created a white steam cloud while spraying water onto the fire. All while unsuspecting motorists drive into a blind situation while another fire truck comes into traffic the wrong way.
Brilliant.
I wonder what burned Ferrari smells like.
As it was said in the news here in Russia, it came out of the autosalon only a half an hour before this accident.

for the record - the cars that burn down most of all in our region are BMWs. Not necessary new ones, but with batteries in the back and some age they catch fire a lot.

woo hoo!! thats my appartment building on the photos!! i was have a cup of coffe while enjoying that show!! It all happened on the federal high way, where the prsident usually drives, so i guess thу cops didn't stop the traffic because they were scared they would get punished for causing a traffic jam... surprisingly the fire engines and the dumpster truck came by really quick... ))) but thats nothing compared to the lambo crashes involving 20 year old drivers in Moscow... now thats awsome!!! and besides of all it was a woman driving that ferrari....
