Two new special packages have been added to the list of options for buyers of the 580HP V10-powered Audi RS6. Limited to 500 pieces, the RS 6 plus Sport and RS 6 plus Audi exclusive equipment packages add a carbon-fiber trim kit for the engine compartment, 20-inch wheels with a five-spoke design, the sports suspension plus system and a numbered plaque in the interior.
In addition, the 'Plus Sport' enhances the RS's cabin with leather trim for the instrument-panel hood and center console, and unique RS6-badged front floor mats.
Those that opt for the 'Plus Exclusive' also get the chance to specify a custom paint job for the exterior as well to choose the color for the leather that covers the seat upholstery, door trim inserts, front center armrest, and the armrests in the door trims.
Other than that, the two special edition RS6s models are no different than their standard sibling that's powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V10 with direct-injection that produces 580HP and 650 Nm (479.42 lb-ft) of torque propelling the sedan from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 303 km/h or 188 mph.
Pricing for the 'Plus Sport' and 'Plus Exclusive' equipment packages are set at €3,250 and €8,130 respectively, with Audi claiming that buyers save about 50 percent compared to purchasing the items individually.

Just when it couldn't get any better :D
I read elsewhere that these packages will only be available for the sedan version. If that's true they are ruining the whole legend.
Hey the headlamps looks as if it has come straight from an old Audi.
Oh!Splendid car.
On the other hand,my Lexus IS350 scorches 0-60mph in 4.7sec with fairly loosen-up engine,as fast as the Porsche Panamera S as well as the BMW 750iL. So the IS350 proves to be not only a rival for the likes of BMW 335i,Mercedes C350,and VW Passat V6 series(from 3.2 to R36) but also a "poor-man's Audi RS6" in a way.
Absolutely no comparison between lexus and Audi... poor man or not. Get your point though... but drive the two and one would be foaming at the mouth to get into the Audi again. I've driven many of the mid/low class (C series, A6,A4, 323 535 etc) ... and have driven Volvo and Lexus (all test drives except the 5 Audis I've owned.) preferred the AUdi..obviously... so i'm biased.. the difference is quite large though.. IT's a completely different awd system... higher end interior and ride.. but doesn't have the Toyota quality (which is huge to my mind).. Still, newer AUdi was fairly kind to me... I"m looking for an S6 now... 2002..(My price range lol). 345hp STation Wagon.. should be buckets of fun.
Cheers!
