VIDEO: Aston Martin Shows off Rapide on the Roads of Valencia

|

If our recent gallery with 120 high-res photos of the all-new Aston Martin Rapide sports sedan left you wanting more, then you'll probably get a kick out of this fresh new video of the British firm's Porsche Panamera rival that was filmed during the media presentation in the city of Valencia in Spain earlier this month.

Aston Martin's four-door, high-performance sport saloon is powered solely by a mighty 6.0-liter V12 engine, the same one found in the DB9.

It produces a peak power of 477-horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, enough to propel the four-seater Rapide from zero to 60mph in 5.1 seconds and on to a maximum speed of 188mph or 303 km/h. Watch the Rapide in action in the video after the jump.

100% better than the ugly panamera.

Just as ugly as the Panamera and won't perform as well and it belts will brake if you try to floor it.

I think this is the only "Four-Door Coupe" that actually ears the name. In that first photo, in which I couldn't see the second set of door handles because of the relative blurriness, I thought it was one of the coupes in the range. Congratulations, Aston Martin. You have created a beautiful, fast sedan.

This car is stunning. It really makes the Panamera look frumpy. The only thing I don't like about it is the luggage compartment is exposed inside. But I can't afford one anyway so it is no problem for me.
Has anyone actually seen any Panameras on the road yet?

Who is gonna buy that kind of cars? Nobody except mafia killers and drag dealers. Ok, but from this category mafia will choose Maserati Quattroporte and drag dealers Porche... CAYENNE!!! I bet that Porche Panamera will come a cop car. Ok, and some gay sigers will possibly buy the Auston Martin.

Who cares if the Panamera performs better? I'd much rather be seen in this rolling automotive sculpture. And to those who think it is ugly; what do think is attractive? A Viper? A Taurus? A Camry? Some people have no taste.

A beautiful extension of the coupe.

Needs top drop the gearing for more acceleration. Keep those pesky Camaro's and Mustangs at bay
