Hamann's Tuning Program for the New BMW 5-Series Sedan

|

If you're unimpressed by BMW's own M-Sport styling packages for the new 5-Series saloon, Hamann Motorsport's has launched its new tuning program for the midsize luxury sedan with an assortment of aero parts, chassis upgrades and interior enhancements.

For the car's looks, Hamann has readied a bodykit that consists of an adjustable front lip spoiler, new front bumper trim with built-in daytime running LEDs, sculptured side skirts, a rear apron with an integrated diffuser, a not so elegant boot lid spoiler and for those that don't mind going overboard, an additional roof spoiler.

A set of matte black 21-inch alloy wheels with polished rims shod in 255/30 ZR21 tires up front and 295/25 ZR21 at the rear, along with a 35mm lowering kit finish off the vehicle's sportier stance. Especially for the 550i, Hamann also offers a sport exhaust system with four enlarged tail piped.

For the interior, Hamann's offerings include carbon trim for the dashboard, central console, door handle panels and steering wheel, special badges and logos, and aluminum sport pedals and footrest.

The engine performance upgrade kits for the new BMW 5-Series are expected to follow shortly.

OMG, this is soooo overdone it is ugly. Why would I pay money to uglify a perfect car? The new 5's design might be plain/safe in some areas and angles, but it is perfect. Understated sport and luxury in a timeless combo. This new 5 will sell more than any other 5 in history. I guarantee it.

Kit is way overdone. However, I LOVE the non glossy carbon fiber interior pieces. CF looks so hot in the matte finish.
