Mac Audio, a manufacturer of amplifiers and loudspeakers, has tapped German tuning specialist Wimmer RS to create a showcar version of the Mini Clubman John Cooper Works [JCW].

And no, the highlight of the hot hatch is not the blonde model seen in the pictures but the extreme audio system found in the heavily modified interior, which was customized by Mac Audio’s own Professional Installation Team headed by Nic König.

The British car was fitted with Dynamat Xtreme insulating material to eliminate vibration and rattling, as well as additional batteries, buffer capacitors and cabling by Stinger.

The audio system comprises of Mac Audio Star X 2.16 front and rear loudspeakers, a handmade 90-liter bass enclosure equipped with 3 x Mac Audio STX Reference-Woofers and 6 Micro X Series amplifiers with a maximum output of 3,900 Watt.

The centerpiece of the system is an Audiovox VME 9325BTA Head unit that enables the user to control navigation using iPod, iPhone, USB, DVB-T and Bluetooth by touchscreen.

Aftermarket tuning firm Wimmer RS was responsible for the exterior and performance modifications that include an ECU software upgrade and sport exhaust system that lift output to 230HP.
