In a sense, all modern generations of the Porsche 911 are retro, with some models (997) being more retro than others (996), but as they say in the tuning world, there’s always room for improvement…

Swedish car designed, Bo Zolland, has hooked up with Custom Concepts from The Netherlands to create a retro styling package for the Porsche 997 (2005 to 2011) that brings the sports coupe’s looks closer to the original 911 of the 1960s.

Albeit still a work in progress, Zolland sent us a couple of realistic renderings that preview Custom Concept’s proposal. The kit will include a brand new front bumper that incorporates a new set of turn lights complete with the characteristic vents of the 1960s model and a different design for the lower air vents.

A set of tasty deep-dish FUCHS alloy wheels and a duck-tail wing will round out the package.

Custom Concepts said that it will soon release more details on pricing and availability.
