Honda announced on Monday that it is planning the world premiere of an all-new Accord Coupe concept study at the 2012 North American International Auto Show, which takes place in Detroit from January 10 to 23.
The Japanese automaker noted that the study would preview the styling direction of the next-generation Accord that will be sold in North American in both four-door sedan and two-door coupe body styles.
"The Accord Coupe Concept will convey the dynamic and aggressive profile of the ninth-generation 2013 Honda Accord set to go on sale in the fall of 2012," Honda said in a short press statement.
While the Japanese brand did not give out any more information regarding the study or the production model, at the recent 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, Honda Motor President Takanobu Ito told reporters that the company's plans include the presentation of a hybrid version of the next Accord sedan.
We should note that the Accord Coupe concept will preview the North American market model as the European Accord sedan and estate are based on the Acura TSX.

c'mon man...you really cant figure that out? the 2013 model will start to go on sale fall of 2012 they will show the concept on jan 10 to 23 2012...
The MY is usually one ahead of the calendar year.
in the US they call the current model in production they following model year - So buy a brand new accord coupe in the showroom today, and its labelled as a 2012 model.
