BMW Designs a Crafty Computer Mouse for Thermaltake's Level 10 Series

|

We don't know how it will perform or if it will be ergonomic, but the new Level 10 Mouse penned by the BMW Group's DesignworksUSA will surely grab some attention with its stripped out looks, which for some reason, kind of remind us of a robotic part that fell from the Terminator.

The BMW design consultancy created the computer mouse for Thermaltake and its Level 10 series.

The two companies had already collaborated in 2009 for the design concept of Thermaltake's snazzy Level 10 high end gaming tower, and the mouse is part of a new series of computer accessories and peripherals that are being designed by the BMW subsidiary and will be marketed under the "Level 10" moniker.

We don't have a price yet, but BMW says that the Level 10 M mouse will be launched onto the market in spring of 2012.

It's nothing new in terms of form factor. In fact, Cyborg have been doing a similar job with their R.A.T models for some years now, and not only that, but they've made good use of the stripped design and thus it's completely customizable in length, width and weight unlike this one. Judging from the Level 10 case, this mouse will be really overpriced. I just hope it's not form-above-function too.

I'm sure there is a Chinese version in the market already. BMW is too freaking late.
