Most German tuning firms have a soft spot for Volkswagen’s T5 series of vans and ABT is no exception. The VW Group specialist has presented a new package that treats the passenger version of the T5 with more power and upgraded looks.

ABT offers an engine kit for all diesel versions of the T5 starting with the 83hp (84PS) engine that’s bumped to 109hp (110PS) and continues with the 101hp (102PS) unit that gets a nudge to 129hp (130PS), and the 2.0-liter TDI with 138hp (140PS) that’s boosted to 168hp (170PS).

On the gasoline engine front, the stock 201hp (204PS) 2.0-liter TSI now makes 236hp (240PS) allowing the 5.5-meter long van to accelerate from zero to 100km/h (62mph) in 9.4 seconds.

The German company complements the power upgrades with a sports suspension kit and 19-inch alloy wheels shod in performance tires, while also offering an aerodynamics package that consists of a front spoiler in combination with the front grille, side skirts, a rear apron, and a roof spoiler plus a sports exhaust system with quad tailpipes.
