If you're experiencing a little bit of déjà vu after looking at these photos, no need to worry because chances are you remember our post on the red Tong Jian S11 coupe from the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show.
The news coming in from several automotive websites in China is that Jianghuai Automobile, more commonly known as JAC Motors, will present the S11 under its own nameplate at this month's 2012 Auto China Show in Beijing.
The same sources show a set of allegedly scoop photos of the S11 in a yellow exterior finish that they claim to be the JAC model, even though the car does not sport any of the brand's badges.
If true, then JAC Motors, which recently made headlines in the States for cloning the Ford F-150 pickup truck, may have come sealed some sort of deal with Tong Jian to build the coupe – that or it just "borrowed" the design…
The original Tong Jian S11 as well as the yellow example seen here, is a styling mash up of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Audi R8 design cues. The S11 is said to have been powered by an unspecified gasoline-electric hybrid powerplant.

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha....
Please, lets stop associating with China financially. If we did not support them, they could not commit human and auto rights abuses such as this.
Looks like it was inspired by a Hyundai Tiburon as much as anything else. Blech.
Impossible, most of the parts in the computers we are using to comment on this post is Made in China.
their taking it to the next level..
If there salesmen asked me what i would swap for it i would give them my phone, water and electric bills, my morgage, my sister, my dog and my domino pizza adverts that constantly come through the mail but i'd still feel ripped off
You know not a surprise from China, but they seem to get away with anything these days.

Looks like a kit car.
Nissan GTR inspiration too!
Someone said it before, but these Chinese immitations look like something from Grand Theft Auto
hahaha... Put all those arrogant European carmakers to shame :)
Go ahead .... make my day :)
I love the Chinese!
Good grief (badly amateurish design). The Chinese auto industry will succeed when they hire a talented designer/design staff that can come-up with an independent look, not stolen from a composite mess of other designs. The Koreans did it (Hyundai) and so too can the Chinese, once they realize that their cars need to have a distinct look of their own.
Are you angry with China because they provide the poor dreams???
It`s like an ugly body kit for Fiat Coupe
Actually, it looks more like a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse than any of the "real" cars mentioned.
That looks nice
Keep in mind that chinese car companies design these cars for the aspiring middle class of China who may not yet be able to afford an actual Ferrari or Audi R8 or whatever. Imported cars usually have 150-300% import tax on them makes many cars out of reach for the average buyer. Ferrari California in the US may cost say $250,000USD but the same car in china will cost over $800,000USD. By designing a car that resembles an $800,000 car and selling it for $20,000 would look like a bargin, and remember no expenisve import taxes becuase this car is built in China. Most of us on this site will not be able to afford the same car we drive here in North America in China.
We like the Chinese too.
They're just crap at making cars.
This shows the designer has no imagination at all. Just cut and paste from other cars!! This is a cross-breed called "Ferboghini"
it looks like the Honda S2000, the tail lights are Ferrari, but the front end is the S2000.
The vast majority of the tail end, including lights, is Nissan GT-R.
I like the car. I live in the boonies of Michigan and maybe see a Ferrari once a year on the road. If the thing is reliable, light weight, low cost and available in the US I would buy one. I disagree with our business leaders exporting 5 million US jobs to China very much. But I also know I can not do anything about it. So I do not worry about it.
I can and do vote, but as Stalin once said " it does not matter how people vote, it matters who counts the votes. "
It will not be light weight or available in the US and what do you mean 'if this thing is reliable...I would buy one'? It's CHINESE!!! It will NOT be reliable.
As well as the clothes I'm wearing and the chair I'm sitting on and the table on which the computer is resting... and my breakfast and practically everything else as well
Yes I agree, also keep in mind if it is cheap then you can't expect it to be reliable if it is then it's a pleasant surprise. And even expensive cars can be unreliable, I can think if many and I am sure you can too. In 20 years time if the Chinese were to build cars you can buy for $60,000 then it could be reliable as well. Most of the time you get what you paid for, no matter what country it is from.
It looks the the inbread cousin of a Lamborghini. But remember it's composed of chopsticks and petrified bat guano painted with latex house paint. Powered by a leaf blower motor the fuel economy is outstanding and can also help with the yard work.
With a special agreement with Toys R Us the launch price of 19.95 usd (batteries included) should be the tipping point in the auto industry.
And now Ford is going to build a auto plant there? http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2012/04/ford-focuses-on-china-will-build-760.html
It's been posted here before; give them our designs to begin with and can't blame them for building knock-offs...we are idiots!
i heared this news.......
