Chrysler to Celebrate Return to China with 300C and Jeep Wrangler Concepts at the Beijing Auto Show

One of the main goals for the Fiat-Chrysler Alliance is to increase its presence in the hugely important Chinese market. And today, the alliance is making another step in this direction by announcing the return of the Chrysler Group return to China at the 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition on April 23, 2012.

The celebrate the occasion, the Detroit-based automaker will present two special edition models at the Beijing motor show.

These include a Chrysler 300C design concept created specifically with Chinese elements in mind and a Jeep Wrangler study inspired by the Year of the Dragon, which the company says, "showcases the opportunity for special editions that might be available for Chinese customers in the near future".

In addition to these two concepts, the group will also host the world premiere of the Dodge Dart-based Fiat Viaggio sedan that will be built locally in partnership with the Guangzhou Automobile Group.

Huh, one of the best looking 300C's and it's relegated to China, while the US gets the Deliverance models!? What's wrong with this picture?

How many special editions of stuff do they have to make? How about a decent new crossover model to compete with the Rav4 and CRV? Something under the Grand Cherokee which isn't the Compass or the Patriot. Maybe a hybrid platform to compete with the Malibu.

A smaller Jeep will come out soon along with a new Compass possibly Patriot in 1 to 2 years. Vehicles take time to develop and bring to market. Possibly Chrysler and Dodge may get a version of the small SUV as well.

300'S suit the Chinese market, they love funny looking plump cars. Americans don't like 300's except the hillbillies.

Best looking yes but not overall to the U.S. SRT Limited Edition or Mopar Edition..there so much more sick than this ^^^^^^^^^ being shown..They're out there guys, just not many out there being seen bc of the $$ price tag>>>>>>Pretty much, you'll only see them at *****Star dealerships...For instance,I saw a 2012 MOPAR Edition Dodge Charger with matching interior to paint scheme and flat black/gun metal wheels like the one on the 300C..Tonsssss of technology for upcoming DODGE/RAM brands..RAM 2013 is gonna have automatic 6-height differentiated suspension to certain speed with automatic vents that open and close for better fuel ecomemy along with air-ride all around with auto level for hauling..plus stop/start technology with gas engines and a class first for a 1500 base diesel..Tell me that's not sick..all you dodge haters..ya'll are just jealous your truck company didn't think of this stuff..Oh yea, forgot to mention an 8-spd automatic transmission too that will be standard in new RAM pickups as well..May I remind you ALL that DODGE/RAM is now affiliated with Fiat who owns FIRRARI
