Like they say, when it leaks it pours. Only hours after the first images of the Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe (CSC) landed on the web, a video as well as a new wave of pictures of the junior CLS study surfaced online.

In the same way that last year’s A-Class Concept previewed the production model that was shown in Geneva this March, the CSC gives us an idea of what the four-door coupe model will look like when it arrives in the market sometime in 2013 as the CLC or CLA.

The study is based on an elongated version of the A-Class’ MFA platform sharing the same running gear as the hatchback, including the 208hp (211PS) 2.0-liter boosted four-cylinder engine that drives all four wheels.

The exterior styling of the CSC is an evolution of the F800 Concept from 2010, which also inspired the design of the larger CLS. Suffice to say, the production model will sport a less aggressive shape and design details.

These new pictures give us a better look of the interior as well. If you exclude the flashy accent colors and an overdose of Alcantara and carbon fiber trim, the dashboard is almost identical to that of the A-Class five-door hatchback. The only real difference we spotted is the bespoke instrument panel with the twin housing for the gauges.
