These are the first official images of the ever so lightly facelifted Audi Q5 that will go on sale later this year. The 2013 model bundles some minor styling tweaks on the outside and new interior appointments with changes to the chassis and engine lineup.
Visually, the 2013 Q5 sports Audi's new six-point front grille accompanied by revised headlamp fixtures and a slightly redesigned front bumper, while at the back we find tweaked tail lamp graphics and a modified rear apron.
The changes on the inside are even more discrete and concern the more premium trim and the new steering wheel designs.
From what we know, under the skin, the Q5 will benefit from a refined chassis with changes to the suspension and a renewed and more fuel-efficient engine lineup that will include Audi's supercharged 3.0-liter TFSI which is offered in various states of tune.
It won't be long before Audi comes out with all the official details on the updated Q5, so stay with us as we will pass on any information we get.

Yawn... Somebody somewhere must want to buy this, but it really is the automotive equivalent of white goods.
Great.. Audi Q5 will look cool in my garage.. (just dreaming)
If you mean like really expensive, luxurious and beautifully engineered white goods with a touch of seriousness and sedateness, perhaps a bit too quiet, restrained and muted to be any fun and
and a little too overrated to be universally cool but still nothing but impressive and desirable, then I completely agree.
They must have burnt the midnight oil on this update......zzzzz.
Usually I'm good spotting the differences in these updates but I'm having a hard time with this one...I really don't give a damn about this car, I'm so unaware of it I can't spot changes.
It's not a bad car at all but...it's just boring, it's just another one in the market...they didn't make an effort to design it...
Carscoop, are you sure you didn't put the wrong pictures up. IT LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE OLD ONE!!!
I didn't know there is a Q5, I mean there was a Q5 and this is an updated version.
or put simply, bland
It's only the number one selling luxury SUV vehicle in Europe. Has won most of the comparison done by American car magazines and a blend of sport and luxury. If the customer is not looking for an SUV then there is no point to it. But for your SUV crowd it combines the best of both worlds without the hipe
New Q5? haha Where?? did audi hired a porsche designer now?
Nice supercharger, however the "natural" wood looks a little to natural for me.
Hay there, this is not 911 or benz SL it is more sporty family small SUV bit more room but still on sporty side, I just get one 2013 special order I went in germany before spending $65 G on it and test drive it all over just like on demolition derby on gravel, on farm land, grass, half and half or say driving 100km or more then hit one side on gravel road and would you think 100km per hour hit gravel on the side of the road, NO PROBLEM JUST STOP 100% NORMAL then take of to join traffic moving 100 km just punch the pedal and there you go no problem and no gravel all over and on the cars coming up from the back again just take of with no problem and join rest of traffic in normal speed, this is sporty and family good looking in and out, the only think I would say the price is bit on heavy side but again what would you pick for the price of $60,000 but this car for $60 k there is every think you would need in a car, I pick one with 2,0 (4) gas and test is YOU DO NOT NEED MORE POVER for normal use powerful nice and good on gas, I wish if I could get TDI but say it would be in N America in 2014 ? so Im very happy with this 4 2,0 litre gas engine and also mach easy to do repair when need to, yes the TDI are super nice and good on gas but could be very costly repair on it, HERE IS ONE OF THE NEW OWNER OF 2013 VERY Q Q5
