A snow covered mountain road is an extremely dangerous place to be for any type of vehicle, let alone for a tow truck hauling a broken down rig with a fully loaded trailer… Understandably, in this scenario the dangers are multiplied.

The accident you’re about to watch in the video after the jump, took place in Norway this past Sunday.

A passenger in a following vehicle captured the incident on film when the tow truck driver pulled a little too much to the right and as a result, the front end of the semi-trailer slid to the side of the road and tipped over the cliff taking with it the tow truck, but not before its driver quickly jumped out.

While the driver of the rig wasn’t able to get out of the vehicle before the two trucks tumbled down the side of the mountain, amazingly, he only suffered some minor injuries according to a report from Norway’s Helgeland-Arbeiderblad.
