We love it when our readers fill in our email box with pictures of camouflaged prototype models that they spotted out testing on and in some cases, even off the road.
Our newest scoopster is Marco A. who nabbed these shots of a four-door sedan model draped in camo at downtown Chicago. "I don't know what car is it but maybe you guys can figure it out," Marco told us in the email.
We think we have pinned down the model, though we would not dismiss the possibility that it could be a new and perhaps never before seen version of the vehicle we believe is hiding behind the black plastic wraps.
So, how about you take a close look at the pictures Marco sent in and tell us which model you think it is.
Hat tip to Marco A. for the photos!

it's the new lincoln MKS
Ford something ?
Lincoln MKZ with Ford steering wheel?
I think so too. Im pretty sure it some kind of Ford because of the door combo buttons on the b post.
i gotta go with jeff on this one. i definitely think it is a new lincoln mks. the grill, headlights, and exhaust tips look almost identical to the new mkz
kia?
Is it too big for MKS...could it be some sort of Continental replacement. But woudl guess Ford of some sort.
This is an easy one! Lincoln MKS! No question!
It looks like the 2013 Ford Fusion to me. And like others have said, the key pad on the door pillar is all Ford, as well as the Ford oval on the steering wheel.
It is Lincoln MKS based on several things pointed about by many. Look at the b-pillar. That is Fords keyless entry. The exterior mirrors are like the new MKZ. The grille is like the new MKZ. The little window around the exterior mirrors is like the MKZ. The Ford steering wheel is a dead giveaway. The wheels are also very Lincoln and due the the fact MKS was up next to be redesigned due to its recent facelift. The led lights in the front bumper are like the new MKZ. That car is wide and large by today's standards. Look at the exhaust tips on the rear too. The KIA K9 has already been exposed too.
Give credit to Lincoln for at least having a recognizable look now.
Definently a Lincoln of some sort... please let it look like their concept cars
Lincoln MKZ
I want to say the MkZ, it does not look that large to me. Both MkZ and MkS have been shown though, so why the camo? Being caught in Chicago it makes sense it is the MkS, they are built here in Chicago.
definitely a Lincoln. got that new bar design
2013 Lincoln MKZ
its clearly not the lincoln mkz, its the new edsel thunderbird.
it's the MKZ
The grill certainly says Lincoln but the design of the side mirrors, tailpipes and B pillar say GM (maybe Impala). I'm sooo confused.
yeah, was going to say Lincoln
The keypad on the B-pillar is a dead giveaway of FoMoCo.
Dunno but just saw many people predict Lincoln MKS
Is this Lincoln's custom made funeral car or the brand itself?
Easy Lincoln MKZ, mirrors match.
MZK. trust me.
Cadillac?
FORD MUSTANG
Lincoln because the grill
Its the new MKZ
Yep. Rumors have it that the big surpise Ford is preparing for 2014 is four doors. The typical Mustang demogrphic is getting older and they want something more practical and comfortable.
I'm thinking Cadillac but I know very little about American cars. Judging by the comments it clearly shows.
Definitely a Lincoln due to side mirrors and the new retractable roof as seen on the new 2013 mkz
I guess it is Acura TL 2013 or 14!!!
2013 Lincoln MKZ sedan
It is the MKZ. Why? Because if it was an MKS, its' enormous roofline should dwarf that of the TSX behind it and the Malibu in front of it.
It has a ford style steering wheel.
LOOKS LIKE A BUICK
you guys are right it must be a Ford or Linclon, because of the pass code 'touch pad' on driver's window frame!
How about new Volvo-S80?
Cadillac CTS.
What about the grill? It's not the CTS, it's a new Lincoln.
Yes but it also said it was to look like the Evos concept and have a grill that wasn't copied from Lincoln.
buick??? most likely buick not lincoln
MKZ or redesigned Taurus
posibly is a chevrolet impala 2013
Definitely Ford Fusion because of the tiny triangle A-pillar window and the wing mirror shape. Besides, it can tell also from the shape of the exhaust pipe and tail skirt. Furthermore, the lighting area of the headlamp shape matches the Fusion.
Lincoln MKS.
