While originally conceived by the Chrysler Group as a Plymouth model, the PT Cruiser ended up being launched onto the market as a Chrysler branded vehicle in 2000, following the Detroit carmaker’s decision to axe Plymouth the following year. The rest, of course, is history with the PT Cruiser becoming a moderate success for Chrysler.

Over the ten years it remained in production, and especially during its early days, the PT Cruiser drew the attention of many tuning and custom shops alike, which created all kinds of different looks for the retro styled compact model.

From time to time, we discover many of these custom creations on eBay like this 2002 PT Cruiser that went under the knife to become a Plymouth model of sorts.

Funky two-tone color scheme aside, the seller notes that the PT Cruiser sports 1941 Chevy pickup headlights and 1950 Plymouth tail lamps, along with many custom made parts such as the front grille, bonnet trim and rear window cover.

The starting bid for the Plymouth PT Crusier on eBay is $7,450.
