It’s makeover time for Skoda’s entry in the popular compact crossover segment. Since the Yeti has not been around for that long as it was launched onto the European market in 2009, there are no big changes for this mid-life refresh, just a few cosmetic tweaks here and there to keep it looking fresh.

The front end of the 2013 Yeti will benefit from a new and more pronounced bumper with different lower air-vents, re-worked headlamps and auxiliary lights, and a redesign of the upper chrome lip of the grille.

The strategically placed camouflage at the back indicates that Skoda’s designers have also restyled the rear bumper and changed the tail lamp graphics.

Some minor improvements are expected in the interior as well, while Skoda may also make changes to the suspension and enhance the lineup with newer and more fuel efficient powertrains.

Keep an eye out for the facelifted Yeti at the 2012 Paris Auto Show this September.
