German tuning firm ABT Sportsline believes the facelifted Audi S4 needs a little bit of help in the performance and to a lesser extent, the styling departments and so it has come up with a new tuning package for the sports sedan, which it calls the AS4.
Under the hood, ABT optimizes the engine electronics and adds a sports exhaust system to lift output from 328hp (333PS) to 429hp (435PS) and peak torque from 440Nm (328 lb-ft) to 520Nm (383 lb-ft).
The extra grunt from the 3.0-liter force-fed V6 helps the AS4 reach an electronically limited top speed of 282km/h (175mph).
The tuner also offers a choice of alloy wheel designs in sizes 19- and 20-inches wrapped around in the appropriate high-speed tires plus some mild cosmetic add-ons such as the front fender air vents.

Nice, up there with the M3 now
Dyno tests have shown a stock S4 is very underrated and already making close to 400 hp rather than Audi's claimed 328 hp. That 175 mph top speed could be achieved by simply removing the limiter. I'd like to see what other performance gains does this ABT package produces vs the stock S4. I bet they're negligible if any at all.
The new numbers are a much welcomed boost. Surprising that a retune of the electronics and exhaust can result in a 100 hp bump. Makes sense that Audi underrated the numbers.
