Audi has shared with us two new videos of the SQ5 TDI, the first diesel-powered ‘S’ model in the history of the brand with the four rings.

Aside from a short trailer, we also have a longer video that shows the sporty crossover in action flexing its 308-horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 TDI that drives all four wheels through an eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission.

The new SQ5 TDI is good for a 0-62mph (100km/h) time of 5.1 seconds and an electronically governed 155mph (250km/h) top speed. It returns a combined fuel economy of 7.2 lt/100 km (32.7 US mpg or 39.2 UK mpg).

The flagship model of the updated Q5 series will become available for order in the UK this October ahead of first deliveries in spring of 2013 with prices said to start from around £45,000.
