The presentation of the AM310 Concept at last month's Concorso d'Eleganza in Italy didn't leave much to the imagination in regards to the appearance of the replacement of the DBS, which as we later on found out, will be named Vanquish.
Nevertheless, some production details were left out from the concept, which we can now reveal thanks to our spy photographers as well as the folks from Autoblog.it who videotaped the new Vanquish in Italy while Aston Martin was shooting press pictures.
The styling changes over the prototype we saw in May are limited to the more conventional looking alloy wheel designs, the black trimmed upper and lower front grilles as well as the painted spoilers, side skirts and rear diffuser.
Aston Martin's new supercar may have changed its name and to some extent, its looks that are loosely inspired by the One-77, but the DBS' spirit lives on through the updated VH platform and 6.0-liter V12 engine, which is expected to produce somewhere around 550-horses.
Hat tip to Mike!

Looks the same as every other Aston Martin. I'm bored of this design now *yawn*
Definitely not worth the 'Vanquish' name...
I retract my previous comments _based on the concept_ about the design being superfluous with Hyundai flourishes...LOL! This beauty deserves the Vanquish nameplate.
Concepts can improve when they move unrestrained artistic license to the reality of production. Kudos to the Aston Martin Design department. And thanks for another visual treat... pure eye candy
Graceful design incorporating just enough One 77 elements. Looking forward to seeing the official Vanquish release pics & details.
The design is a bit fussy. I would say their design peaked with current generation, and they have nowhere to go but down.... unless they take the porsche approach and make very subtle changes.
Are you sure it's a new one?
Note to Aston, stop.
You.are.lying
I do not believe that it's a new car. It looks just like the last one.
The designers have probably been all fired!?
Or have they really gone out to the pub?
What do Aston drivers think of this? Are there any that want the "new" one, or are they all thinking: I think I have this car already?
The question is: How can you sell more of the same?
