These are the latest spy pictures of the next generation Renault Clio hatchback, to be revealed at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show this September before it goes on sale initially in Europe by the end of the year and other markets around the world shortly after.
This time, Renault's engineers had stripped away some of the camouflage affording us a new look at the car's front and rear lights as well as the hidden rear-door handles.
Notably, at the front, we see that the French firm has integrated the LED running lights into the newly styled front grille with the larger Renault logo, which was first seen on several concept models like the DeZir Coupe, Frendzy MPV, and Captur small crossover before making it into production on the Zoe EV.
The Clio 4 will enter the market with Renault's newest downsized turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, including a 0.9-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol unit producing 89hp (90PS) and a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine with around 115-horses.
A range-topping RS model that will follow the presentation of the regular models is rumored to be offered with a new 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine delivering more than 200-ponies.

I want the Ford / Renault version. (Taurus V-6)
This, the new 208, Cee'd, i30.. the European compact class is getting very exciting.
Except the 208 and Clio are not compacts but superminis and are not in the same segment as the Cee'd or I30.
Very interesting many thanks, I presume your readers would likely want more reviews along these lines continue the great effort.
It looks nice and I could exchange my current Clio for this one but I see this is a 5 door model and the back door handles are placed almost at roof height. That's very bad for my kids because they can't reach it and it will start getting annoying to me because I'll have to open the back doors for them every time they want to get in the car. An unnecessary design feature that turns out to be very unpractical for everyday use (specially for those that have little kids) and doesn't even look good IMO.
