There are so many things wrong with this accident, which allegedly took place on a central road in Taiwan earlier today, that we could go on and on but let just give you the basics.
Video footage from another vehicle shows a driver of a white compact sedan (an older generation Nissan Sentra / Sunny, if we're not mistaken) running a red light more than five seconds after it turned on before he crashes into three or four scooters at the intersection.
The reckless driver of the car, the license plate of which is clearly visible in the clip, opens the door, possibly to check out how many motorcycles he knocked down with a single strike, and then, as if nothing happened, leaves the scene.
We counted at least five people involved in the accident including a young child, who was fortunately wearing a helmet, and yet with the single exception of a scooter rider, no one else cared to lend a helping hand.
And to top it all, an ambulance drove right by without stopping to ask if anybody was hurt – even if the bus had someone inside or was heading to an accident scene or to pick up a patient, the driver could have at least pulled over to check things out.

Holy cow, this is so unbelievable, it's almost a comedy, especially with the cyclist just crossing at the end.
The value of human life reduced to its lowest denominator—in public view—and no one gives a damn. Sad.

well even if he got away good news is that they have the number plates, and if you noticed theres a guy in a scooter who turned around at 0:35 maybe after the guy

I hate to say it, but every dash cam video I have seen of a crash in China... people don't care... they just keep going.
At least in the Russian dash cam videos, even though the people are hote headed there... you see people helping.

Look at the other cars they are just stopped before the stop line and that stupid driver still driving.
If this happens in the US, all the liberals would come out demanding that cars should be banned.
And what in your carscoop opinion the ambulance should do so we can see that it is using the lights? Propably they got an injured person or they are going to someone.
Duh..there might be someone dying in the ambulance, like there's time to pull over =_=
I will never go to Taiwan, I can promise you that.
Fair enough the ambulance already had warning lights activated (who knows could have been a critical patient) but you would think someone in the intersection would help considering people are still lying on the ground.
this is just unreal..it's so sad, no one stops to help!! even the ambulance!!human life has no value on this country!!

already arrest him. Hit and Run is 6month ~ 5years jail. And he haven't licence,red light ,..... It's a big news in Taiwan. We hope he get 5years jail and put something in his aXX hole. But difficult.

Ignorant fool, this happened in Taiwan, not China.
This video just present the first moment of this accident, but the whole story how it end up. The peoples around come and help the injured people, someone even take out big umbrella to prevent people from the sun burn. The ambulance pass by due to on duty in car. The perpetrator under arrest less than a day.
