The 2013 model year version of the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport has arrived in the States with prices starting from $19,170, excluding a destination and handling fee of $825 (Alaska/Hawaii $950), an increase of $375 over the outgoing model.
The biggest news about the 2013 Outlander Sport is that production has shifted to the U.S. and Mitsubishi's manufacturing facility in Normal, Illinois.
The exterior revisions to the updated Outlander Sport are modest and include the revamped front bumper and grille, the black side sills and the new 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, Mitsubishi has gifted its bestselling vehicle with a fresh assortment of seat colors, new chrome accents and a redesigned All Wheel Control (AWC) push button switch.
Under the sheetmetal, the Outlander keeps its 148hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine linked to a tweaked Continuously-Variable Transmission (CVT), while Mitsubishi engineers have revised the rear multi-link suspension.
More details about pricing and available options can be found in the spec sheet that follows below.

Am I the only one who thinks that the new front end looks like a hyundai tucson?
Very much so
They both have split grilles and headlights... but they don't look like family members to me.
It is a nice little SUV, I was looking at one myself before I got my Juke, but it lacked power and I wasn't so confident in the dealer networker.
The fog lights look very similar to the tucson's
Needs the lancer ralliart's drivetrain.
The AWD model costs almost the same as the Forester, but engine config is only 2.0 vs. 2.5 for the Forester, and 148 hp vs. 170 hp for the Forester. I like Mitsu for its exterior design, but the car's performance is a big turn off, plus the inferior dealership is a definite deal breaker, and yes, I do own a Forester.
