To better compete with the finest that Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Jaguar have to offer in the full-size luxury sedan segment, Lexus put its fourth generation LS under the knife.
But you probably already know that since the 2013 model year version of the Japanese brand's flagship was officially revealed at the end of July.
What's new is a fresh assortment of photos of all three models including the LS460, the LS460 F Sport and the LS600h L that Lexus released this week and which show us the cars in different shades and more importantly, out of the studio and into the open.
In the U.S., Lexus has said that the 2013 LS460 will be the first to arrive in the market in October followed by its more dynamic sibling, the LS 460 F Sport in November and the hybrid LS600h L in December.
Pricing has not yet been announced; though don't expect any significant changes over the current version's MSRPs.

can someone please tell me what is so special about this bland looking buick? I have never understood the attraction to lexus. When compared to Mercedes S class, this thing and all of its earlier models simply disappear...
This is an LS it's suppose to come with a CD player. Leave the new tech to the cheap cars for the younger crowd!
The model it replaces certainly has a presence, I' am very impressed with this refreshment, simple, still elegant & minimal. I hope it does well against the updated 7 series and A8, and should help it stay relevant in the face of Mercedes launch of the new S class.

I know...I can't believe it...looks terrible...Just like the new Acura RLX (the flagship) looks like a Ford. The old-style was way better. I think one of the better looking cars is Hyundai Equus...that's a beauty!
Probaly a perfectly nice car. Don't get the recent Lexus pinch face. It's like they ran out of options and tried to establish a car face that was different from the others, and were left with the most stupid bottom of the barrel design. Or maybe anti-design.
Her maturity of mechanical elements is impressive, while her "sake-cup" like front mask seems something like a "naked-king"; The Emperor's New Clothes-like controversies would emerge.
