A forum member of a Toyota fan club in Saudi Arabia has allegedly captured a trio of revealing shots of the next generation 2013 RAV4 crossover.
The car was covered in a white plastic wrap on the outside with see-through plastics protecting the seats on the inside, which suggest that this may be a dealer model.
The exterior details match what we have seen from the prototypes spotted over the past few months testing on the road, so chances are that this is the real deal.
The new RAV4's crispier design is very close to the upcoming 2013 Auris hatchback, the official brochures of which were leaked onto the web earlier this summer.
The current iteration of the RAV4 launched in 2006 receiving a mild refresh in 2009. The new model is expected to make its debut as early as this fall before it hits showrooms either towards the end of the year or in early 2013, depending on the market.
Toyota's crossover model will likely continue to offer a choice of four-cylinder diesel and petrol engines in Europe, and a different four-cylinder gasoline unit for North America, while we still don't know if the V6 engine will be carried over to the new model.

Like most Toyota's i don't like it. Bad designs.
yes
Hyundai i30 rear(((
new CR-V the best
They can't seem to make up their mind about their grilles. It changes every time they cross a state or country border.
Nope, that's the current Subaru Outback with a Toyota badge. Sure thing. The interior is an old photo from a 1990 Ford Crown Victoria. Yup.
a substantial improvement in looks, actually
What an awful grill
The rear looks like a Toyota Siennna.
But, don't see this Rav4. How do you say that you do not like? For me front is to cool, and the interior with leather board is spectacular.
It seems there are lot of Toyota haters out there. Who are you? Car sellers or lovers, the picture is not that clear to be able to really appreciate the look of the car, because it is a toyota you do not like the design. Woowwwww... some people
the silver lines from the front emblem sweeps through the line in the eyes reminds me of the standard design of Mazda's kodo.
That's exactly what I was thinking. Amazed at the similarity since the Mazda is so new.
Despite the resemblance to Mazda's design, I still very much like what is revealed by these photos. I'm looking forward to the official reveal and info, as this is on my shopping list for my first new car. The other funny thing about the silver parts on the grill is that I was thinking people might refer to it as the "double samurai" grill. If you look at it, it looks like two samurai swords are pointing towards the Toyota emblem. :-)
Yes, and if someone genuinely doesn't like a Toyota, there is always someone ready and willing to call them a hater. Don't like Elvis? Elvis hater. Don't like the Beatles? Beatles hater. Don't like apple pie? Apple pie hater. Woowwwww... some people
Looks like a much bigger 2013 Auris, to me. The back is the same, the slant and shape of the grill is about the same, and it appears to have the same shape of window at the C pillar.
Not sure if this is the new RAV4, but I will buy another (and keep my 2007). BTW, I would never buy a CR-V, talk about ugly!
Would you know a bad design from a good one?
