At first, we had the "Not in trend, not casual, not for everyone" TV commercial staring 19-year old androgynous model Stav Strashko, and now, Toyota's Japanese arm has employed the help of Nobumichi Tosa, founder of Maywa Denki, a company known for its "Nonsense Machines" such as remote-controlled tap shoes and musical backpacks, to promote the new Auris hatchback.
The Japanese artist came up with a contraption named "Spanking Orchestra", which places an array of robotic hands on a new 2013 Toyota Auris and a pair of arms situated close by to create music through tapping and clapping respectively.
The musical Auris was one of the main exhibits at the "Daikanyama Art Street" festival that took place around the Yamate Dori area in Tokyo, Japan, this past week. Toyota was one of the main sponsors of the event.

This car is so ugly, they should spank it with a hammer.
I don't think the car is ugly at all, just normal. Toyotas are good cars.
Replace those hands with tentacles and it might become interesting.
