Asked any experienced salesperson and they will likely tell you that any car is worth as much as somebody else is willing to pay for it.

We are going to let you decide if a 1989 Porsche 928 GT is actually worth more than a brand-new, 400hp 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S at a ‘Buy it Now’ price of US$98,500 (€80,200) right after we tell you the basics about this find.

Listed for sale on eBay by a North Carolina-based dealer, we don’t get any information on how the car was discovered, but from the looks of things, the Porsche 928 must have come out of hiding from an enclosed parking lot or at least a luxury barn as the single-owner car has only 351 miles (565 kilometers) on the odometer.

Of course, just because you don’t drive a car doesn’t mean there’s nothing to fix – sometimes, leaving a vehicle parked for months or years can cause more problems than if you actually used it from time to time.

In GT trim, the 1989 Porsche 928 came equipped with a slightly more powerful 5.0-liter V8 rated at 326hp (330PS) and a five-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels through a 40 percent limited slip differential.
