Michael Stoschek’s dream of creating a limited run series of the one-off New Stratos may have gone up in a flash of red smoke after Ferrari officials put a brake on the project, but at least the German entrepreneur is having a blast with the Italian exotic.
After last year’s premiere of the Ferrari-based New Stratos at the ‘Isla Mallorca Rally’, Stoschek brought the car to the 2012 edition of the race that took place on the Mediterranean island from March 15 to 17.
Even though almost five months have passed since the race, Stoschek only just released video footage shot from both inside and outside the modern interpretation of the classic Lancia Stratos earlier this week.
