Regardless of personal styling preferences, most will agree that the Ferrari California carries a lot more cache than any Nissan model, the older generation 350Z included (just as long as we're talking about a genuine Ferrari).
Still, the first Z coupe of the new millennium has its own special character and a strong following, thanks in part to its handsome styling as well as its sports car performance and handling credentials.
Considering all this, we can safely say that the 350Z isn't exactly a prime candidate as a donor car for a replica build, even if said clone is a Ferrari California.
However, one German company named FGP begs to differ. The replica-car builder and parts supplier has designed a new Ferrari California kit for use on the pre-facelift Nissan 350Z Coupe built from 2002 through 2008.
In Germany, the exterior kit alone (excluding lights) is priced at €6,499 (equal to US$8,150) while FGP is also offering the package for UK buyers on the local Bay for £5,299.
"You should have knowledge about cars to do this conversion, but you do not need to be a welder or mechanic to do it good and fast," says FGP. "The Kit is designed to complete it even for beginners within maximum ONE week (plus painting). We developed this kit to build easy, fast, with fun and no extra investment," the company adds.
FGP says it also offers wheels, lights and an interior kit that replicates the Ferrari California's cabin, all of which are sold separately, though it doesn't mention how much they cost.

I'd rather be driving a REAL cheap Nissan, than a FAKE ferrari or whatever that will be.. FAKE IS FAKE.. that's why i do hate the replicas...
You forgot to add "Why" to your headline...
Why? And why would you keep the stock Nissan rims on it?
yuck
Same as with every replica bodykit I've seen: they run out of money when it comes to wheels and spacers. Morons.
This is one of the worst replicas I've seen. Looks nothing like a California. What a waste of a mediocre car.

"You should have knowlage about cars to do a conversion at all, but the boys at fgp certanly doesnt have enough to use a donor car which is good and fast" says eric ;)
Here they are with a kit molded froman original car (byt the looks of
it) but then they´ve changed the dimensions and ruined the proportions
by putting it on a nissan 350z!?!?They are germans, why didn´t they go
for a mercedes sl500 or sl55amg from 2002? really good value and
probably the car ferrari california aimed at in the first place. I hope they change that! :)
The front looks OK. But why try to LOOK like something that already exists? Why not create a whole NOW look. If you're going to bother at all.
