Much like Wang Jian, a 28-year old Chinese mechanic that built a Lamborghini Reventon replica from scrap metal and used car parts, Alexander, a 30-year-old car buff from the Ukrainian city of Odessa, had a dream and that was to create a clone of the Italian supercar.
The Ukrainian, however, followed a different path as he decided to base the Reventon on his very own 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Coupe (third generation) that he had acquired back in 2008.
With help from friends and family, Alexander began work on the car in early 2010. The entire process of fabricating the pieces and making the necessary modifications to the four-cylinder Mitsubishi donor car took a little over two years with the final touches added this past summer.
If you hop over the jump, you will find a gallery with photos from the beginning to the end of the Lamborghini Reventon project.

Cover the side window curve with something! Why people keep making replicas of Reventon, Aventador is much nicer.
replica is what I call success at failure.
It's so disproportionate that it's an abortion.
I guess because they started it before the Aventador was unveiled... To be honest, we've already seen way worse than this before... :)
Funny how the most critical among us are the ones that have to read the instructions on a box of paper clips.
Well done, Very good adaptation
The guy didn't cut the car but adapted it body to the model.
