On Monday morning, Audi came out with a Spartan press release announcing that it will debut the new RS5 Convertible online via live streaming this Thursday, September 6, before the high-performance convertible model makes its first public appearance at the Paris Motor Show later this month.

The new open-top model will share the same 4.2-liter V8 that generates 444hp (450PS / 331kW) as the RS5 Coupe.
The naturally-aspirated engine will be matched to a seven-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission with a launch control program transferring power to all four wheels via Audi's quattro system.
Other performance upgrades will include a tauter suspension, more powerful brakes and a revised steering system, while the RS5 package will be complemented by a wider body featuring bespoke aero parts, larger rims and sportier interior trim.

oh boy... I wonder what it'll look like... Cant wait for them to take that California King sized bed sheet off the car. Call me crazy but maybe...JUST MAYBE, it'll look like the RS5 they just released only.... with a ragtop on it. I know, I know it's far fetched and highly unwarranted for me to think this but I just have a wacky feeling that that's what its gonna look like.
