The soon to be launched Mini Paceman isn’t much of a secret since the British carmaker not only previewed the car with a prototype at the 2011 Detroit Motor Show but back in July this year, it also released a handful of photos of a barely disguised pre-production model.
Nevertheless, we now have images of the final production version, courtesy of Mini's own fan magazine, at least according to the crew over at MotoringFile.
The Paceman is a bit more than just a three-door version of MINI's five-door Countryman crossover, as the designers have altered the body from the A-pillars and back. It sports a much sleeker roofline with a raked rear tailgate, while it's also around 13mm lower and 20mm longer than the car it is based on.
MINI will reveal the new Paceman to the public at this month's Paris Motor Show with sales expected to start next year.

Cute, but seems kind of pointless.

Looks bigger than a Golf, hard to call it a Mini.
its a X6 in a mini body..still dont like the headlights
The front bumper looks like it was taken off a fairground dodgem.
Expecting a Mini Crufts edition any day now shaped like a kennel.
Its not really a mini isnt it?
MINI is just a GOD DAMN NAME BRAND. Get over it!
Do you yell at JUMBO SHRIMP?
Would you imagine a Smart with the brand Hummer?
Its not called Mini, its MINI, just a brand that BMW produce.
Doesn't look bad, its much more attractive than the Countryman. Will be better without the (presumably) optional chrome pack that this one wears.
