You may remember that we showed you a video and a handful of screen shots of a new concept supercar from Peugeot named the Onyx on Monday.
Today, a full set of images of the Onyx made their way online well ahead of the study's scheduled world premiere at the Paris Motor Show on September 27.
The sharp looking concept features a two-tone, matte black and bronze paint job and a glass roof.
While Peugeot has not disclosed any information on the vehicle other than its name, the pictures reveal that the Onyx has a mid-engine layout, with some sources claiming that it combines a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine tweaked to deliver around 250 horsepower with an electric motor for a total system output of about 400hp - but this has not been confirmed.
The photos of the interior show a minimalistic cabin with a contemporary design.
We'll try to find out more on the Onyx and update you accordingly. In the meantime, check out the photo gallery and tell us what you think about Peugeot's futuristic concept model.

Black Gold!
Enough with concept car, give real car a nice touch (and decent auto gearboxes)
Everything looks great but the rear profile needs some work. It is simply way too flat and lacks 'something".
Still, i highly doubt Peugeot would ever produce a super-car of this calibre. Although if Renault goes with their Alpine, then maybe Peugeot would too?
Even then, being a "normal" person like myself i doubt i would ever be able to own such a pricy car.
That is one of the nicest supercars that has been shown. If Peurgeot were to make this and Renault to make the Alpine and Citroen the Survolte, we could have a nice French mini-supercar war.
s this all you ever post? that they don't have and automatic gearbox?
Not to sound negative, but as much as we also frequent this site for
articles, we also read comments and your comments are becoming staple
diet...imagine coming to this site every-time and every single article
is a copy or a modified copy of previous posts day in day out...borring,
annoying, mundane, simple and irritating hey? Now take those exact
sentiments and apply them to your comments...see :) ...we got the point
the very first time you posted the comment about a gearbox comparable to
DSG, and you were answered...there's a 7 Speed dual clutch system to
come out next year ...don't get oofended when I just copy and paste this
response to your comments.
