Most of the times, it’s the bad apples and their reckless actions that hog the limelight on the internet, so for a change, here's a dashcam video that records the actions of a kind hearted driver, or to be precise, a scooter rider.
The young woman riding on the scooter with her young child sitting at the front (both wearing their safety helmets), was waiting for the green light in front of a pedestrian crossing when she saw an old man trying to cross the street.
Slow as he was, the elderly man didn't make it before the green light went on and was trapped in sea of frantic drivers in passenger cars, trucks and motorcycles, all of whom just stomped on the gas pedal to get away.
Seeing that the man was in trouble, the mother stopped her scooter and together with her young daughter helped the man cross the road in safety.

Wow.. I love lovely people like them <3
The world would be a better place if everyone thought like this. Kind acts like this make me proud to be human.
Now that is a class act right there. Doing something amazing like this even when (you think) no one is watching. The world needs more people like her!
A fantastic lesson for the child... Kudos to the mother!
Respect for our elders. It's a crop that's hardly planted anymore in these times. Nice to see it still exists.
Super duper wonderful and kind woman:) God Bless.
Yes, more people should be like her. As someone else mentioned, it is a good example for her child as well. The driver behind her was also thoughtful to stay there behind the scooter.
IN TAIWAN!!
IN TAIWAN!!!
In the U.S., I couldn't imagine the driver w/ the camera ever being that patient! I mean think if someone was trying to help the man across the street in NYC!? People would just run over the mo-ped. I wish the world had more people like this woman... and the driver of the car.
It sure does!
It's amazing how rare doing the right thing has become. And the highways and roads around the world have become the crucible in which the very worst of human character is often revealed. Glad to see one person, among perhaps 100 in this video, do the right thing.
Just yesterday I had an experience that really disturbed me. I was in downtown St. Louis, in an area where the streets are very wide with large long hills. I was crossing a completely empty street on my skateboard, when I noticed a car coming towards me at a high rate of speed, perhaps 65 mph to 70 mph in a 35 mph zone. He he was maybe 100 yards away when I saw him as I was slowly rolling across the street. Apparently this driver, in a convertible 3 series BMW I think it was a Z3, didn't think I was moving fast enough, so he floored it, and then swerved his car at me as he passed, just as I was moving into the parallel parking sections along the street. He missed me by about 8 inches.
What the hell is wrong with people these days?
But did you all notice how she completely ignored traffic while she helped the old man cross the street. Then put herself and her child in jeopardy again as she walked straight into oncoming cars to get back to her scooter
That is the kind of women we guys should marry, not with barby-silicon-botoxed dolls...
WOW!!! That was great to see!
WOW! Double Like!! Thumbs up!!
This is powerful.
Again a confirmation that women are best drivers AND riders.
You ride on a skateboard...lol...hayi aaarnonbrown, you've just lost +100 manhood points ...
Yeah...but it show's her conviction...she'd risk her life for a total stranger, no word exists to even begin to describe the amount of love this lady has...
Here in Asia this is something you would never-ever expect.
Seriously, driving culture is on a level of 5y.o and matchbox toys.
Typically everyone would just drive exactly as those drivers in front line did.
To see her doing it - smart/safe or not- is just unbelievable.
I'm sorry but none of these assholes waited till poor man crosses....
and to mind all traffic rules - pedestrian has priority if is on marked crossing, and he had a green light when he started crossing....
random act of kindness deserves a million fold of blessings
That's why mom's have a holiday.
I think I've just seen two special events: One, the driver taking the video stayed behind and protected the mother's scooter (Driver of the year!) Two, the Mother who showed great respect for the elderly gentleman in helping him cross the street and took her daughter with her to protect her, as well as show that being a decent and caring human is the best way to be (Mother of the Decade!).
