For the past six years, Lexus has been present at the SEMA show and the 2012 edition of the aftermarket fest in Las Vegas that kicks off on October 30 will be no exception.
One of the highlights at the Japanese luxury brand's stand will be a 2013 GS350 F Sport prepared in partnership with VIP Auto Salon.
The Orange County, California-based tuner muscled up the premium mid-size sedan by bolting on Apexi CG SPL custom supercharger kit to its 3.5-liter V6 engine, which in naturally aspirated guise, delivers 306-horses. VIP Auto Salon did not say how much power the V6 gained with the addition of a supercharger.
The rest of the tune includes a WALD International Aero package, a Brembo HighPerformance GT Brake kit, Vossen CV7 20-inch wheels in Yokohama S.Drive tires size 255/30-20 front and 275/30-20 rear, a PTS Joe Z Series True Dual Header-Back exhaust system and a RSR Super i coilover system.
Lexus' SEMA Show exhibit will host four additional vehicles, including the 5Axis LS 460 F Sport, the LF-CC Concept, the IS F CCS-R racecar, the LFA and the LFA Nürburgring Edition.

Its about time someone stepped up and provided additional power to the GS350 - kudos to VIP.
The GS line deserves a true production GSF providing a high level of horsepower & torque as 306hp is simply too low. Hopefully this special SEMA car is a glimpse of what we can expect for 2014. Also, the LF-CC Concept is potentially a prelude to a GS Coupe (not IS) - with its great lines it too needs to have robust power to successfully compete in the segment.
I've been waiting for this front lip so long, since I believe, that the front bumper without the lip is simply ugly.
