Excitement Turns Into Fear for Family Filming Superstorm Sandy when Trees Smash into their Cars

|

Despite our better judgment and unlike animals, people have the tendency to stay put when Mother Nature unleashes its destructive forces – well, that is, until something-something hits the fan...

Like this family filming the powerful gusts caused by this week's Superstorm Sandy from the supposed safety of their own homes.

The man holding the mobile camera describes the situation "The Apocalypse" and makes some funny remarks, but only until trees start snapping and crashing down on their own and their neighbors' cars as well as power lines, which eventually sparked a fire.

Hop over the jump to watch the video he filmed.

I don't know if this is the case for this family. But I'm sorry to say, if people are told to evacuate and choose to stay deserve everything that comes to them.

The number of OMG's and pansy huffing leads one to believe this is not a family filming but Becky the valley girl and the cheerleader squad . "like uh for sure OMG the mall is destroyed ..."
