As we anticipated, last week's unveiling of the upcoming 2014 Corvette's newly designed emblem signaled the beginning of a long line of teasers that will culminate with the world premiere of the seventh generation model at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show in mid-January.
For the first official teaser, General Motor's marketing people created a short video that showcases some cropped bits and pieces of the next Corvette's body such as the sport car's front grille, four centrally mounted exhaust pipes (in a row), the exterior mirrors, and the rear fender.
Head over the break to watch the video and to check out the print screens we made for a closer look at the details.

Please tell me I didn't see a passenger close a door that swung out like an Aston Martin Rapide.
the worst teaser ever!
Like the fact that GM is finally getting the clue and showing real GM staff (and not some screwed-up glory-boy executive). It's a good tease with a bit of unpolished/uncleaned bits...I like it!
I saw it too, maybe it was just the camera angle ... Swan wing doors, how unnecessary would that be ...
Nevertheless, I already like the C7 :D
I have a feeling that 2013 will start with a great car unveiled.
If it was meant to use the Black and White for increased dramatic effect; then epic fail! It came across more as old-fashioned and out-of-date.
Like the car, but the teaser is more from the time of bayonets and horses...
Anxious to see the car. Pretty bad teaser though!
