For the paltry sum of €30,000 or about $38,900 / GBP24,100, German tuning brand Fostla can take your stock, previous generation Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG from the R230 series, and rework it inside and out to give it a more unique look and at the same time, boost its performance credentials. Interested? Read on then.
Fostla begins with a wide body kit sourced from PRIOR-Design from their PD-Series that muscles up the SL55 AMG's wheel arches, side skirts and bumpers, while also adding black front grilles in a honeycomb design, mirrors, air vents and a rear diffuser with new powder-coated, quad tailpipes.
The side windows, headlamps and taillights are all tinted. The roadster model is then dressed in a matte yellow foil wrap and fitted with matching, two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels shod in appropriate tires in the dimensions of 265/30-20 on the front and 325/25-20 on the rear axle.
The suspension has been lowered with the tune finishing up under the hood where Fostla upgrades the V8 engine's ECU bumping output to 548-horses.

ain't the R230 AMG either a 63 or a 65?
I would not give my SL for some unskilled mechanic to make it that ugly if I had one.
I think you mean SL63 AMG.
Fosla isn't very clear about this as it only mentions the car as a "2005/2006 SL55 AMG". The only explanation is that the PD-Series styling package includes the front end of the facelifted SL presented in 2008.
