Here's More Reasons Why You Would Never, Ever Want to Drive in Ukraine

|

If this video doesn't make you say what hell is wrong with these people –and by people, we don’t mean regular citizens, but Ukrainian cops and government officials- we don't know what will.

You may remember a clip shot in Ukraine during the country's annual Constitution Day celebrations at the end of June, in which civilian drivers were going all over the road disregarding laws and common sense. Guess what; it gets worse.

This time, it's a parade of police cars escorting either government officials or less likely, some wealthy individuals.

While we could force ourselves to understand the shepherding part, what we fail to comprehend is why the cops went completely out of their lane for no reason whatsoever endangering civilian cars on the other side of the road.

Check out the video that follows, and if you have an answer, head over to the comments area.

I thought that the driver of the first oncoming police car one was drunk. After the camera-fitted car overtook the stopped SUV/4x4, then I realised that there was a lot more to come, and then I realised that every single one of them were driving lazily around the corner.
I would have tried my bad-ass move: move to the extreme LEFT of the road, just to see what happens...

Relaaax. That's just some government persons heading to their Crimea residence near Foros. That's usual thing in the September here, it's like.. I don't know.. like birds flying south. Usual thing. Also, every year some cop goes off straight away from the road because of such driving style. Darwin's theory at work.
In the other day, the roads are clear and the weather is fantastic, and if you go high in mountains, you will never meet a cop (except when it's IRC Yalta Rally), but the scenery and the roads are breathtakingly brilliant.

I'm Ukrainian, there is more to this story. They were escorting governmental official for weekend summit talks. Next day a police Passat crached nearby, supposedly from this very escort. Policemen swiftly the removed the plates, fllshers and stripped off stickers:

If the cops all over the world believe they are such a good drivers, much better than the rest of us, the plebeians, let God take them to drive His angels chariots and leave us to struggle on the roads, alone and unharmed.
