Scoop: 2014 Cadillac CTS Sedan and 2014 Chevy Silverado Filmed Together on the Road

General Motors is keeping itself extremely busy these days as the Detroit carmaker is putting the final touches on a series of important new models before it launches them onto the market within the next 12 months, including the 2014MY versions of the Cadillac CTS and the Chevrolet Silverado.

While not unique, it is certainly not common to capture two upcoming prototypes from different brands (albeit from the same manufacturer) travelling on the road together, which is what happened to the YouTube crew from the "MaxSpeedMedia" channel.

You can read more about the two cars in our previous posts, but the short story on the 2014 Cadillac CTS premium sedan is that it will grow in size to become a true rival to the BMW 5-Series and also gain a new set of engines, while the next Chevy Silverado full-size truck will boast a bolder look and more modern features and powerplants.

A somewhat agonizingly slow-motion video from the short encounter with the two cars can be found right past the break.

We tip our hats to Mark for the find!

The Silverado actually looks pretty similar to the previous ones. I will have to wait until the Chevorlet in Grand Rapids gets them to go and see! I think this is the year my husband gets a new truck! Thanks so much for sharing!
