Tuner Mods Porsche 911 Cabriolet with a Central Driving Position

|

There are many ways to modify a Porsche 911, but to be candid, turning Stuttgart's sports car into a three-seater of sorts featuring a 1+2 seating arrangement with the driver positioned in the center, is something that never really crossed our minds.

Which brings us to this creation named the "Centro 911" built by Nigel Tuckey from Trinity Motorsports in Lima, Ohio.

It was developed for an anonymous gentleman who wanted to give his Porsche 997 Cabriolet a center driving position much like the one of the world's most iconic supercars ever, the McLaren F1 – though in the Porsche's case, we don't see any use for the two rear seats other than a storage area.

It took about a year to complete the Centro 911, which was shown at the ALMS Petit LeMans race in Atlanta earlier this month.

Tuckey said that the company is also working on a second Centro 911, which will be revealed in due time.

Hat tip to Caroline F. for the find!
