Thanks to CarScoop reader and Nürburgring dweller Timo S., we now have the first ever action footage of Rolls Royce’s upcoming Ghost-based coupe, the production name of which, remains a tightly guarded secret for now.

The spy video affords us a look at how Goodwood’s new Flying Lady tackles the corners and straights of the Nürburgring Nordschleife track at speeds and angles you don’t normally see a Rolls Royce model.

The luxurious GT will ride on a shortened and sported up version of the Ghost saloon’s platform with power being provided by a tuned 6.6-liter V12 from the same model, possibly gaining more than 40hp over the stock unit and thus reaching or even surpassing the 600-horsepower mark.

The as of yet unnamed Rolls Royce Coupe (we’ve heard the Corniche moniker may be under consideration) will likely make its world premiere at a major international motor show sometime in 2013.

Thanks to Timo S. for the Scoop Video!
