There's no question that drag racing is a dangerous sport and if anything else, it's clearly a matter of when rather than if a driver will crash their car.
Thankfully, the person driving the black 2013 Ford Cobra Jet Mustang at the Cecil County Dragway in Northeast Maryland last week for the Annual ABM Nationals, was able to walk away from a very scary crash, which occurred immediately after his car performed an admittedly striking wheelie.
Ford's 2013 Cobra Jet was introduced in December of 2011 and is available with two 5.0-liter Ti-VCT engine options, a tamer naturally aspirated version and a more powerful iteration of the V8 fitted with a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger, which is the car featured in this incident.
For what it's worth, the 2013 Cobra Jet has an MSRP of $86,000 with the naturally aspirated engine option and $93,000 with the supercharged unit.

At first I was like "there is no way someone that got to drive such a car can be such a moron, steering rack must have failed or something", then I've seen the 2nd clip...
He shouldn't turn the steering wheels when the front wheels were on air though ... :\
Moron
Badd ass car. This vidio proves thiat a supercharged shelby is not for a inexperienced driver or a kid to be driving to school.
