An accident is an accident, and no matter what kinds of cars are involved in one, it all comes down to the well-being of people. We’re glad to say that the passengers of the two cars seen in this video made it out alive and well suffering only “bumps” and “bruises”, according to the driver of one of the vehicles.

What makes this incident of particular interest is that the two vehicles are classic Australian models, including an early 1960s Holden EK sedan and an early 1970s Ford Falcon XY GT, though we don’t know if it was a replica or an original (say double ‘ouch’ if it’s the latter…).

Given the rides seen in the dash-cam footage, the accident happened either in Australia or in New Zealand [ed. note: it happened in Victoria, Australia] when the driver of the Falcon didn’t pay attention to the vehicles slowing down in front (see at the 1 minute mark) and blocked the brakes pushing the Ford onto the classic Holden on the other side of the road.

The driver of the Holden EK posted this on his YouTube channel:

“This happen on the saturday at the bright rod run a group of us where going for a drive to get some photos of the old cars the next 5 cars in front for us are our friends . Yes i no the date is wrong it was the first time i have used the camera and i didnt no it was going to have the date on it . No one was badly injured but just a lot of bruises and bumps . I just hope with the video it goes show how quick stuff like that can happen.”
