You may as well dim the lights, grab some popcorn and sit comfortably because the video footage that follows has all the ingredients and thrills of a true Hollywood blockbuster. Only difference is that, what you are about to see, actually happened in real life.
Our only gripe is the somewhat poor video quality, but then again, that's probably to be expected from a camera positioned on the dashboard of a police car.
So what exactly are we looking at here? To make a long story short, a Czech police car (a Skoda Octavia 1.8-liter TSI, according to a poster on YouTube) patrolling the roads of the country's capital city of Prague, spotted a motorcyclist without a license plate entering a Bus/Taxi only lane and signaled him to stop.
The biker chose to ignore the cops and a hot pursuit ensued.
We must say that, even though the police did their job, they also put their own lives as well as the lives of many other innocent users of the road at risk. At least that's how we see it. Watch the video below and tell us what you think.

Talk about not giving up till you get your man. Video game action on that one with real life consequences.
Man, that cop at the end was bringing major ass beating with him.
They probably beat the shit out of him at the end or at least that's what it looked like with the baton out and blazing. Granted he did pose many dangers to the public so it's semi deserved.
"...even though the police did their job, they also put their own lives as well as the lives of many other innocent users of the road at risk."
Oooh, come ON, CarScoop! You enjoyed the whole thing, admit it! Stop complaining of having a visual orgasm each time there's this kind of break-neck speeding vids out there. There's no guilt in admitting you enjoy these things so much that you obsessively keep posting them... :-)
I think, they were conducting the pursuit very professionally and without seriously endangering any bystanders. The other drivers on the road also behaved excellent, the way I am used to from driving in most of Europe (in contrast to Australia, where cooperative driving is often a disaster).
I see it this way...the road manners of that biker (bike probably stolen) posed a serious risk to traffic from the start. If they would not have gone after him, police would lose credibility AND there may have been casualties.
Their sirens are very easy to identify (and the car always went where other cars left him go), I didnt see any bigger risk and he did stop the rider gently... I wonder how the same chase would have finished in the US.
I'd say good job to these cops.
Man, that cop can drive! Good job.
Professional job by the police.
Excellent driver! Excellent job!
Good job, Mr. Policemen !
I hope he beat the shit out of him with that stick, what an arse.
Funny how nobody notices the biker's poor skills. He must be a beginner.
